This is a view of Wellington, New Zealand. It is the famous Cuba Street. Cuba Street is alive with edgy art, vintage finds, new ideas and great food. All life moves by on Cuba to the sound of water sloshing in the iconic bucket fountain. This image has been freehand machine embroidered onto new Zealand wool. It is basically a drawing using my sewing machine and thread. The artwork is framed over a canvas frame and then stitched and stapled onto the back of the frame. It will be securely packaged for travel wherever it needs to go.
